Moreover, since the entry of predatory entities such as the "pickpocketing dogs" from Jane Street especially into the Indian market, the entire dynamics of options trading have undergone a drastic transformation.
Options trading is a zero-sum game. Even the market regulators (Securities Exchange Bureau of India- SEBI) in India, itself acknowledges that 90% of the option traders/option trading participants end up incurring losses.
If you have suffered significant losses in options trading, the very first step that you must take is to exit that space entirely. You should then invest whatever capital that remains with you, with perhaps into an Index Fund and hold that investment for the next 20 years.
Such an investment strategy will prove invaluable in securing your retirement life or funding your child's education.
Once you have successfully broken free from the addiction of options trading, you can then turn your attention toward equity investments as well.
