Crypto social media platforms, are something new, innovative and all who we are here, we love them. We are technical persons, and we do not understand very well, other communities, perspectives. I'm a computer programmer, and a part time writer, too. I'm lucky to have both perspectives, and I would like to notice a problem, that drives writers away from these platforms IMHO. The problem is plagiarism. We are technical, persons, and we like to count words, and say that an article, must have more words of your own, otherwise this is plagiarism.

Sadly, this is our own definition of plagiarism. All these problems have been solved, many years ago, by the writers communities. Writers, concentrate on WHAT they write, not how it is written. There are false accusations of plagiarism, and this makes them, want to go away, because they have not been doing plagiarism.

Here is the important part:

Plagiarism is the use of someone else’s ideas or language without acknowledging that they were not created by you. This definition applies to ideas, words and unusual structures regardless of where you find them—in a book, on a webpage, in an email. Whenever you include another person’s information or wording in a document, you must acknowledge the source and include a citation that will tell your readers where you obtained it—otherwise you are guilty of plagiarism.

Finally,

If an article, contains a link to the source, the writer, cannot be accused for plagiarism. Accusing them for doing so, it just, drives them away.
