Developed in partnership with the Socios.com platform, the digital asset arrives at the World Cup's opening and integrates the team into the ecosystem of national teams such as Argentina, Portugal, and Italy.
Sócios.com, a digital engagement and rewards platform for sports fans, focused on bringing fans closer to their favorite teams through the issuance of digital assets (Fan Tokens), and the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) have announced a partnership for the launch of the official Fan Token for the Spanish National Team .
The initiative, announced during the World Cup , aims to bring fans closer to the team around the world through digital innovation, building a more connected and participatory community.
The launch is generating strong market expectations, boosted by Spain's status as one of the top contenders to win the World Cup title this year.
The agreement strengthens the platform's presence in the Spanish market, adding to existing alliances with major clubs in the country, such as FC Barcelona, Atlético de Madrid and Sevilla FC.
Internationally, the RFEF is now part of the group of national confederations that already have their own Fan Tokens™, alongside Argentina, Portugal, Italy, South Africa, Scotland and Belgium.
Since its launch in 2019, Socios.com has enabled Fan Token holders to participate in over 6,000 binding votes related to team decisions, in addition to distributing over 40,000 exclusive rewards and experiences globally.
Additional details regarding the offering of the new Spanish asset, including participation mechanisms and eligibility requirements, will be disclosed in the future in the crypto asset's whitepaper, in strict compliance with MiCA regulatory guidelines.
