MEOW — The Day I Decided to Trade with $7

MEOW — The Day I Decided to Trade with $7

I’m Kartade.

In January 2025, I set myself a goal: to become a trader alongside my other Web3 activities.

A few months later, in June 2025, I was already trading for real. But let’s be honest: my results were extremely inconsistent. One day I was winning. The next, I was giving everything back to the market. I wasn’t profitable yet; I was mostly learning, sometimes in the most expensive way possible.

So I added a second goal to my list: become a profitable trader… and build an army of trading bots.

Yes, a real army. Okay, it may have been a slightly ridiculous goal. But the idea made me laugh, and more importantly, it pushed me to think differently about the way I traded.

February 2026: Understanding the Real Problem

In February 2026, I finally understood what was going wrong.

My problem wasn’t simply finding “good trades.” I was lacking discipline, consistency and a clear enough framework to repeat my decisions.

From that point on, I started slowing down. I reduced the size of my positions and stopped trying to force myself into taking multiple trades.

I began trading with very small amounts.

Strangely enough, that was when things started to become more stable.

Trading with small amounts allowed me to observe my decisions more clearly, as well as my mistakes, emotional reactions and the conditions in which my approach actually worked.

June 2026: Giving My Idea an Engine

In June 2026, I started turning the engine behind my future trading bot into something concrete.

The goal was not to create a magical machine capable of winning every trade. I wanted to formalize my own trading edge: the signals I observe, the market movements that interest me, liquidity zones, volume, confirmations and invalidation levels.

In other words, I wanted to transform part of my reasoning into rules that a system could use.

That’s when the idea of an army of bots started to become a little more concrete. Not an army designed to take reckless risks, but several agents capable of analyzing different market setups and helping me identify opportunities.

July to September 2026: The Real-World Test

Between July and September 2026, I started testing the engine.

Since this was still an experiment, I decided to allocate only $20 to a dedicated wallet used within the DEX and Web3 ecosystem.

The result for July was encouraging: approximately $21 in profit.

In August, the result reached approximately $40.

These figures obviously do not guarantee anything about the future. They are simply the results of a test carried out with a small amount, under specific conditions, with all the risks associated with trading and DEXs.

But for me, the most important thing wasn’t just the amount earned.

It was seeing that an approach I had initially used manually could begin to be structured, measured and tested.

Kartade Has Wings Now

At that point, Kartade started to grow wings.

And as often happens when I begin to believe that an idea might actually be interesting, I brought back an old and completely absurd challenge.

My original goal was to manage to trade with just $1.

I’ll probably take on that challenge one day.

But for now, I’ve decided to start with a slightly more realistic amount: $7.

Day One: The Challenge Begins Today

Today is Day One.

I’m going to try trading with $7 and document the results day after day.

The goal isn’t to promise spectacular performance. This is not a buy or sell signal either.

I simply want to share the real experience: the decisions I make, the opportunities I identify, the mistakes, the fees, the slippage, the profits and the losses.

With a small amount, every detail matters.

A fee of just a few cents, a poor execution price or a little slippage can quickly change the final result. That’s precisely what makes this challenge interesting: it’s not enough to be right about the market’s direction. The execution also has to be efficient enough.

So I’m going to follow this experience as a trading journal.

Seven dollars.

One wallet.

One trading engine.

And perhaps, one day, a small army of bots.

MEOW.

Day One — The $7 Trading Challenge

Minimum target: +10% per day

$KII Trade

  • Capital allocated: approximately $5

  • Amount received: 5.619549 USDT

  • Profit: +$0.619549

  • Performance: +12.39%

$FIL Trade

  • Capital allocated: approximately $2

  • Amount received: 2.116775 USDT

  • Profit: +$0.116775

  • Performance: +5.84%

Overall Result

  • Initial capital: $7

  • Final capital: 7.736324 USDT

  • Total profit: +$0.736324

  • Overall performance: +10.52%

Final Thoughts

I reached my Day One target with an overall performance of +10.52%.

The $KII trade significantly exceeded the target, while $FIL generated a more modest return. Fees and slippage still need to be monitored carefully, especially when trading with very small positions.

Day One: completed successfully. 🐱🚀
