Lolli has closed a Seed II funding round for $3 million. The funding round, which was managed by Pathfinder, Founders Fund’s early-stage investment, was oversubscribed. The funds are to be used to:

  • launch the Lolli mobile app during the summer of 2008
  • finance the planned 2008 global expansion of Lolli

The Bitcoin reward site Lolli makes it easy to earn, save, and share bitcoin. Lolli lets consumers earn bitcoin when they shop from a Lolli partner merchant in the USA. Priceline, Macy’s, and Best Buy are merchants in the Lolli network.

Since it stated operations in August 2008, Lolli has given hundreds of thousands of dollars of Bitcoin (BTC) to its users. On average, a user receives a rebate in BTC that is equal to 7% of the total purchase amount. The BTC is sent to a user’s Lolli wallet.

At this time a Lolli browser extension is available for Chrome and Firefox. The Brave and Safari browsers are not supported.
