Twas the night before Crypto, when all through the blockchain,
Not a NFE was stirring, none to be found in any P2E game;
The exchanges were filling the wallets with care,
In hopes that big gains soon would be there;

The altcoins were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of smart contracts danced in their heads;
And Bitcoin listed as BTC, and Ethereum simply as ETH,
Had just settled down hoping to avoid the bears teeth,

When out of the miner there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the computer, I flew like a flash,
Fired up my program to check out the hash.

The moonshoot was on, as all those on Reddit know,
Gave the Shiba Inu all day to really, really grow,
When what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature satoshi, there is nothing to fear.

With a shiny new graphics card, so lively and quick,
I knew in any moment hitting a block would be slick,
More rapid than doges my rewards they all came,
And the card whistled, and shouted, and called them by name.

“Now, Tether! Now, Algo! Now, Stellar And Salano!
On, Raven! On Cupid! On Aave, Zcash And Cardano!
To the top of the market cap! to the top of the wall!
Now dash away! dash away! dash away all!”

Onto airdrop requirements before the white papers fly,
Follow on Twitter, Instagram, and Telegram oh my,
Must set up my BSC wallet to claim my gifts so few,
With and estimated $10K prize pool if that's really true.

And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the news,
Crypto CEOs talking with congress sharing their views,
They're trying to get their hands on my fortunes just found,
What about my privacy, keep your hands off my mound.

On to my faucets, and surveys, free crypto the joy,
I hope I don't get hacked, it will devastate this boy,
I thought I had protection but I wasn't fully aware,
And it looked like my machine just got some nasty malware. 

I checked on the charts and my currencies were all pumping!
So I logged into sell, too late because everyone was dumping!
FOMO had driven me here, but guess now I'll just HODL,
Any more losses, and I may just turn to the bottle.

Then I messed up my address and everything was gone,
I have to make it all up now with my savings lost before dawn,
Should I look to yield farming and give it a try,
Returns bigger than staking or anything else in DeFi.

Disagreements on my favorites caused a fork in the road,
I'm doing all I can, I contribute with my node,
Proof of Authority, Proof of Work, or perhaps Proof of Stake,
Can't we all get along and give everyone a break.

Perhaps I'm just tired or maybe its all those gas fees,
And halving is killing all my great plans to varying degrees,
And with liquidity low I'm in such a tough spot,
At least my wallet is cold rather than way too hot.

I tucked myself back in my bed, full of big crypto dreams,
Hoping not for a bearish nightmare full of terrified screams,
But bulls ruled my unconscious thoughts after I turned off the light,
