Crypto Goals For 2nd Half of 2023

By johnwege | johnwege | 8 Jul 2023

The year 2023 is flying by. It’s hard to believe but we have already reached July, which means we are officially halfway through the year. Typically at the start of each new year, I like to make goals that I would like to achieve in the crypto market this year. I have found that it is much easier to actually achieve your goals once you have written them down on paper. Being able to visualize them, and keep track of your progress at the same time. One of the most common factors that result in people quitting is that they are unable to see their own progress. That is my hope with this article.

Before we dive into my goals for the 2nd half of 2023, there is one important thing that you need to be aware of. Everyone is different, and this will affect our goals. For example, our age, where we live, financial situation, family size, health, and appetite for risk are all things that could affect our goals. What works for me, might not be great for you, and vice versa.

With all of that said, let’s finally dig into my crypto goals for the 2nd half of 2023.

1. Accumulate My Next Full Bitcoin

For those who have been following me for any length of time, you will already likely know that Bitcoin is the cryptocurrency that I’m most passionate about. At the end of the day, I believe that the name of the game in crypto is to accumulate as much Bitcoin as you possibly can. All the rest is just noise and means taking on more risk.

I was fortunate to enter the Bitcoin market early and take advantage of a much lower price. That along with taking advantage of every major price dip along the way has allowed me to build a decent-sized Bitcoin portfolio. With that said, Bitcoin has become much more expensive since then. This means that accumulating significant amounts of it has also become more difficult.

My largest goal for the 2nd half of 2023 is to keep my foot on the gas pedal of Bitcoin accumulation and reach the next full number. Owning a full number of Bitcoin means owning 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or any full number. As Bitcoin’s price continues to soar this goal will continue to become even more difficult to achieve, and maybe even impossible for many.

2. Continue to Build My Cryptocurrency Passive Income

One of my greatest passions is building passive income streams, and being able to earn money even while I sleep. It is my hope that someday I will be able to grow these passive income avenues to a large enough point that I wouldn’t need to invest quite so much, or that I would be able to live solely off that income.

During the last crypto cycle, I was doing very well earning passive income from sources such as staking, and crypto lending. But as we all know, lending out crypto to 3rd party services such as Celsius, BlockFi, or FTX turned out not to be a good idea as they became insolvent. I was very lucky to escape those situations unscathed, but it did force me to completely change my cryptocurrency accumulation strategy.

I no longer am willing to risk any of my Bitcoin and all of it is currently in cold storage. Instead, I have been shifting more of my focus into building positions in blue-chip cryptocurrencies that have staking built into the protocol. Blockchains such as Ethereum. To achieve this goal, I simply need to keep accumulating more Ethereum.

3. Growing My Blogging Avenues

Finally, my last crypto goal for the 2nd half of 2023 is to continue to work hard and grow my crypto-related blogging avenues. The first reason for this is that the money made by blogging has become one of my main sources to accumulate even more crypto. However, that isn’t the only reason.

The truth is that I love blogging about this market because it keeps me well-informed about everything that is happening. There have been airdrops that I’ve qualified for that I know I definitely wouldn’t have been paying attention to if I wasn’t writing. And the last reason is that it is my secret hope that my writing will someday help me land a job in the cryptocurrency market.

One thing is for certain, the end of the year will be here soon than we think. It’s not too late to get started on your goals, but we need to start now.

How about you? What are your crypto goals for the 2nd half of 2023?
