We are the captains now.

If you have been paying attention to events unfolding across the world, it is becoming clear that generational change is about to take place.

The US, with its dollar being the world’s reserve currency, is suffering from crippling debt that appears to have no escape. Inflation is breaking out around the world, with people finding it hard just to make ends meet. Finally, countries appear to be becoming less connected as a result of tariffs and fear of sanctions. World trade is decreasing for the first time in decades.

Looking even further, money is quickly changing as well.

The people growing up today who are becoming adults have experienced life much differently than the “boomer” generation did. They have grown up surrounded by digital assets, currencies, memorabilia, games, and movies, and it seems completely normal to them. In fact, they much prefer digital assets compared to physical.

To them, physical media or currencies are just an inconvenience that takes up space. Digital assets are much more convenient and can be brought with them everywhere with ease. They also believe they are much safer as well.

If that wasn’t enough, this generation grew up with the internet and are much more aware of everything that is happening around them.

More so than any other generation, they are fully aware of how their money and hard work are being inflated away. Understanding that they have it harder than previous generations. Prices have gone through the roof, yet salaries have underperformed that pace dramatically.

This generation has begun voting with their wallets. Investing in Bitcoin at a higher percentage than any other generation.

The most important thing might not be that they are investing in Bitcoin and crypto. However, it’s that they believe that Bitcoin is a completely legitimate asset class that is here to stay.

The harsh truth is that people of a certain age just don’t understand Bitcoin. They are either incapable of understanding it, or are too stuck in their ways to have enough of an open mind to not only learn about it, but also change their mind. These people are on the verge of retiring, or well beyond that.

This will cause two events to happen very soon.

The first is that the younger generation will soon replace those “older view” people in power. This will cause a monumental change in how countries are run, how they view Bitcoin, and how they utilize it. We have already begun to see this change taking place in the US. Just a few years ago, Bitcoin and crypto were enemy number one. However, today crypto crypto-friendly regulation is being passed, and the US has even created its own Strategic Bitcoin Reserve.

The second result is that a generational transfer of wealth is about to take place. While it is cruel to think about, people in the boomer generation will soon begin to pass away in large numbers. Resulting in their enormous wealth being passed on to their families. A large percentage of these younger benefactors will decide to invest that money into Bitcoin and other digital assets.

Not only that, but as time goes on, they will continue to invest in Bitcoin just as previous generations consistently kept investing in stocks and the S&P 500.

All of this will cause the largest transfer of wealth that we’ve ever seen.

A sea of change is coming.

The world is changing, and Bitcoin will be at the forefront of that change. While Bitcoin may seem expensive today, having a price of nearly $110k, the reality is that we will all look back at this time and think that it was insanely cheap. All wishing that we had bought more.
