A few years ago, when Bitcoin was around $500, I thought I had found my chance to get rich quick. I bought 5 Bitcoins, and it was surprisingly easy. A few months later, the price shot up to almost $1,200. I thought: "My God, sell them now, you will never see this price again!" I sold them at $1,100. It seemed like a perfect deal.
Then, someone told me to buy Ethereum. I took everything I had earned and put it all into ETH. Well, the market crashed, and I was left with only $200. Since that day, I haven’t wanted to know anything about Bitcoin or crypto.
The truth is, we lack the education to invest in cryptocurrencies. From the outside, everything looks beautiful and easy, but in reality, only a few people with massive amounts of money win. They are the ones who control the market. When they detect movement or see that regular people are investing, they move the price at their whim.
There are institutions holding thousands of Bitcoins. Where do we think we are going with our 4 or 5 Bitcoins? Poor us; they can ruin us whenever they want. We are just pawns in a game played by giants.
