Well, THAT was fast! Ethereum Pins 200EMA to Kick off Weekend (TA 06/05/2021)

Just when things start looking up, Ethereum goes and pins the 200 EMA on the 1H, giving back several points of gains from overnight.

Ethereum continues to trade tightly between it's 50, 200, and 800 EMA on the 1H. This last candle took us from the 800 EMA down to the 200 EMA, slicing through the 50EMA cloud, all in one move.

Pulling back a bit, Ethereum is still trapped in a bearing inclining wedge and its still flirting with producing a bearish reversal pattern, an M.

Lastly, a pull back to the 1D to observe the larger trend.

The MACD appears to be making a bullish cross, and at the right moment, but we have to watch the volume and the fact is that volume is declining heading into the right side of the wedge, another bearish signal on a bearish pattern. However, the green line is the trend line coming off the start of the rally, somehow, someway, Ethereum is technically still in a bull market.

As we flirt with bear market territory and with the market experiencing a great deal of fear, we must proceed carefully with our trades. It's important to monitor the charts right now as Ethereum is trading tightly across so many important moving averages that these patterns should be telling as to which direction we will head. Watch the volume heading into the terminus of the wedge.

This is a good time for an Investing 101 reminder:

Bull markets produce corrections.

Bear markets produce rallies.

Now go make some money.
