This is a fun little collaboration I did with Venezuelan rock band El Globo Oscuro. It was their idea, actually, and I was more than happy to jump on it, because they are awesome. I already enjoyed their music but only recently discovered that their name translates as “The Dark Globe,” a handle they chose in honor of a Syd Barrett song. So that felt like a cool piece of synchronicity, as a huge Floyd and Barrett fan myself.

Anyway, this is me reciting the first chapter of my forthcoming novel, Tales of a Scorched Coffee Pot, soundtracked by their musical accompaniment. And then a bunch of appicable images pertaining to the project. This probably works best if you click through to watch it full-sized on Youtube.
