What the crypto space looks like to me

I just wanted to reflect on this space that is growing like crazy after being in for about seven years now. When I really stand back and look the crypto space starts to resemble Animal Farm. With publicly traded exchanges hedge funds governments and institutions rushing the space well before the masses of Main Street  it’s getting more and more difficult to tell the crypto(pigs) from traditional finance(people)..We have centralized exchanges, publicly traded companies, manipulated markets, the majority of money goes to a fairly small number of people and it seems instead of Main Street we have Wall Street and hedge funds as adopters. Big business is getting involved and even some governments are getting into the action, yet the average lower middle class person can not afford Bitcoin or ethereum gas fees. Even though there are options out there it’s pretty hard to look past the fact that the industry as a whole is a complete and total let down if you hoped that crypto could be the way to separate from an unfair rigged financial game but it is obviously not that. So yes it has created wealth for some people and that’s great but as to give the average citizen a fair monetary option  outside the standard corrupted fiat system it has failed miserably. Crypto is just a big tech space with a merger of the casino where the game is rigged against the most vulnerable. Exchanges work like any other corporation that leach from society by minimizing barrier to entry offering outrageously high leveraged positions and headquartering away from taxes and regulations and the ones that don’t go public. I think there is money to be made for sure but it’s no different than any other speculative asset and definitely is not an answer to the corrupted system we have today. So the search continues!
