How to write a blog step by step
In today's blog article I wanted to discuss with my followers and readers how to write a blog step by step. I was asked by one of my readers from one of my writing platforms to write this blog so I thought I would give it a shot. So make sure to let me know how I did on this article below. Make sure you read the whole article if you plan on getting into blogging or online writing. With that being said we can get into today's blog article.
Step 1: Figuring out your blog topic
One of the most important things to do when creating a blog I figuring out what you are going to discuss on yours. My blog for example writes about cryptocurrency, passive income, and economics. I would say try to write a blog on something that is informing and interesting. This is so you can get the most views and can retain readership over time. Topics taking about money of any sort so finances, cryptocurrency, stocks do well as good topics like technology and pop culture.
Step 2: Finding your platform
The second step involves you now looking for a platform to write on. Now if you're now just starting fresh with no previous online presence then writing on a platform like Medium or Read.cash might be the best place to start. If you writing about cryptocurrency in your blog then you can write on crypto-dominated sites like publish0x or Leo finance. If you already have a big online presence then starting your website might be a better idea. The reason for this is because you can make more from your website and it's overall better for your S.E.O.
Step 3: Establishing a social media presence
Step three now involves you creating a social media account for your blog. By doing this you establish a presence online that can help spread your content. Not only that it allows you to easily interact with your audience which can further improve your content and views. Not only that but your social media accounts can be another source of income if you build them up. Overall social media is useful for spreading your content and interacting with your fans.
Step 4: Researching topics
Your next step is doing research for the topics you're going to write about. So this means collecting information from trusted sources you know. This can be anything ranging from YouTube videos to other blog articles to a podcast. Just as long as the information is legitimate and the source is non-bias trusted then use it. Just make sure not to give out false information as it makes you look bad and stupid and harms the readers and your audience.
Step 5: Writing your post
Now your final step is finally writing your blog post. Now before you do this make sure you did all the above steps. After you've done all of this select a topic you want to write about you should particularly pick a topic you know will do well or is in the public eye right now. After you write the topics you might want to get some images to add to your post or at least for a cover image. After that spell check your blog and make sure you're using the correct punctuation Grammarly is a great tool to use for this. After you've posted your blog post share it on social media to get more views. After doing all of that you should be done with setting up your blog and writing your first blog post.
