In 2020, women became interested in bitcoin by 43% more

Why does the crypto industry attract girls and why do they invest in digital assets

In the first quarter of this year, the number of women in the crypto industry increased by 43.2%, reports Cointelegraph with reference to The coinmarketcap study. At the same time, the number of girls on different trading platforms increased by an amount from 22% to 160%.

Women's involvement in the digital money industry was also announced in December by the Grayscale crypto Fund. The company has published a study that only 57% of investors interested in buying bitcoin are men. Blockchain entrepreneur Nisa Amoils explained the influx of girls into the crypto industry as its attractiveness in terms of investing savings. Trading and investing in digital assets gives you the opportunity to increase your income.

Another reason for women's interest in cryptocurrency was named by bithumb Global exchange representative Vincent POON. According to him, girls buy bitcoin and other coins to diversify their investment capital, while most of them do not trade.

In may last year, the US copyright Office registered Chinese woman Wei Liu as the author of white paper Bitcoin. According to the Agency's website, Liu claims to have created a text file "Bitcoin: a Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System" in 2008.
