I was 17 years old at the time I was working at a fast food place, to be specific I was a cashier at a burger and fries place. Some of the best burgers and fries youve ever tasted kinda place but thats beside the point. A girl I had been talking to " Lucy" texted me about a warehouse party that was going to happen on December 31st(New Years Eve). I thought to myself alright this should be kinda lit. She texted me the address but I sort of played hard to get and texted her" Hey Im gonna be at a friends party that night so I might not make it" and I was but it was a friend that i had met at a dance club a weekend ago. Eventually December 31st came by and I met up with a girl named "Cassi", she was so happy that I showed up to her party but in reality I had my mind on the warehouse party that Lucy had invited me to, so I told her " hey, this parties kinda dead, wanna go to a dope party?", she said yeah so we went over to the warehouse party and I saw Lucy as soon as I arrived. I was so happy when I saw her and I told her" meet my friend Cassi" they said their hellos and I introduced Cassi to some of my friends and left her with my friends while me and Lucy walked around the whole warehouse talking about random stuff while drinking some beer. She kissed a guy while she was with me and I pretended I didnt care while in the inside it was draining me but I could tell she wasnt into the guy becuase she kept looking at me while she was doing it, she wanted me to make a move but I didnt. I wasnt ready for a relationship because if I did accept her as a life partner we would have ended up marrying each other. I dont regret anything in my life to this day but from time to time I still think about that girl.
