Heavy Playing - Polish band - Vader

Thanks to the song "Sword Of The Witcher" and the game The Witcher, the band is recognizable not only among fans of such music. The Vader band was founded in 1983 in Olsztyn by Zbigniew Wróblewski and Piotr Wiwczarek playing bass then.

Not long after he was a bass player, after a month he took over the role of guitarist and vocalist.
In their works, the group refers to death and war. You can say that the band has become a legend, many bands drew their inspiration from them.

VADER - Sword Of The Witcher

The breakthrough year for the band was 1986, in the fact that just this year the band qualified for the Metalmania music festival after prior submission of their material. After a successful performance on the second day of the festival, the group was hailed as Polish Slayer.
The band's first album was released in 1992, and the music video for one of the songs from the album was released by MTV.

After this album, the band moved into the world with concerts, played with such stars as: Morbid Angel, Deicide, Cannibal Corpse and many more. I remember their performance at the Silesian Stadium in front of the Slipknot and Metallica groups. A great concert.

Vader - Fight fire with fire (Metallica cover)

It must be admitted that they had the courage to cover a star like Metallica.
In my opinion, they did very well, they like to take on the well-known songs of other bands.
The group from Olsztyn has achieved great global success, played on all continents. But the tragedy in the band took place in 2005, the longtime drummer of the Docent - Krzysztof Raczkowski band died. In addition to the band Vader, Docent also played with other bands such as Hunter, Christ Agony, and Sweet Noise. He won a lot of awards and distinctions, and after the death of Docent the band releases The Art Of War dedicated to his memory.

Vader - "This Is the War"

It is undoubtedly one of the best bands in Poland and in the world in its genre. The band has won many awards and distinctions, and in 2012, after many previous nominations for this award, receives the Fryderyk award in the Album of the Year Metal category.

Finally, one more song by the band that refers to terrorism and religious wars.

Vader - Helleluyah!!!

Thank you all for your support. greetings
