House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) has seen her net worth increase by $140 million since the 2008 financial crisis thanks in no small part to her husband’s fortuitous trades in companies she has worked to subsidize. Now, she's trying to pull up the ladder behind her: In what may be her final months as a member of Congress, she’s backing a proposal that would prohibit her colleagues from buying or selling individual stocks.

After banking almost $150 million thanks to her husband inside trading the information his wife was offering him, now da bitch wants to ban her colleagues from doing that. I guess the fossil realized she has enough money and that the future ones coming in her position for the years to come should not have the same opportunity as she had.

The simple principle she seems to have applied for some good years now is: buy low and sell high. It ain't complicated at all, isn't it? Well, if it's all that plain and simple why haven't we, crypto peeps, made fortunes from this market?

Cuz we don't buy low and sell high. How many of us are buying crypto in the current range we have? How many did that just a couple of months ago, and how many will do it in the next couple of months?... How many have sold during the mania phases so they can have enough cash to buy the correction that followed the 2021 peak? There's just one answer to all of these questions: few...

Most of us, although theoretically know these simple principles for making money in crypto don't actually apply them. Why does that happen?

Greed is what's stealing our profits away from us during bull markets, cuz it always has to go higher than that. I have personally missed taking profits on a 10x on my portfolio in the past bull cycle cuz of my greed in dreaming of scoring 30x or even more. I bet many others have fallen into the same mistake... It's like 10x is not enough revenue on a crypto investment, right :)...

Next to greed comes fear which oftentimes keeps us away from buying insane discounts in crypto. I have recently bought everything but the bottom for my holdings. I'm fine with the price range I got in, and even if I will sell just the 2021 peak level, once we get back to it, I'll have that damn 10x in my hand once again, but why haven't I bought the extreme fear of a couple of months ago? Cuz I was fearful, as the majority of the crypto market participants...

We also often get distracted on the way up, I sure know I've made this wrong step. That's the third matter I want to tackle in this whole buy low, sell high story... From point A(entry point) to point B(profit taking time), you'll gonna be faced with lots of distractions and "temptations". There's always going to be that other project that seems better than what you are invested in, and often times it feels that everything pumps, but your coin...

I once had 566,000 DOGE, but I sold them all for around $1,000 just because some other shit in the market seemed more appealing.

I've gone through almost two complete cycles already and in each and one of them, I've made pretty much the same mistakes. Buying low and selling high is not actually an art, it's such a simple and "in your face" strategy, but we often complicate things.

Now, we might not be in the position of Nancy Pelosi of having any insider information that could make us millions over a relatively short period of time, but we have the experience of going through multiple crypto cycles and that should be enough to nail "the buy low, sell high" strategy that's already written on every wall.
