Like every week, this week too I have brought you a review, but this time it is a review of the roadside hawker shops. But for that I have selected one shop. And that is a shop that sells household products. So let's start without further ado.

Basically, for this challenge, I went to review the sidewalk, a household goods seller's shop. Which is located next to the Haque Hotel on Basurhat Road in our
Daganbhuiyan Bazar. There is enough space for hawkers to sit on this road. And different types of hawkers are located on this road.

And the only reason for this is that the other roads starting from Zero Point in our market are very congested. In comparison, Basurhat Road is a little less congested. That is why there are basically opportunities for hawkers to sit on both sides of the road. However, among the many hawkers, I focused on this household goods seller's shop for the review.

Show pictures + videos and show their prices.

Although I did not buy anything from there like this time, I sometimes bought some household necessities from there. And the rates there were also a little lower than other markets. Since they are hawkers, the prices of their products are much lower than those of shopkeepers in other markets.

Because they do not have to pay advance and do not have to pay any extra costs, their products are very easily available at low prices. I have taken many photographs and videography of that shop and presented them to you.

03How do they face sidewalk occupation, eviction or police harassment?

Although they occupy the sidewalks and set up these shops, and they do not have much legality. That is why they have to face police harassment. And many times it is the police administration and the municipality that evicts such sidewalk shops. Although when the eviction mission is underway, they close down their shops and stay in one place.

Then when the eviction mission is over or the time of the operation is over, they return to sit there again. In this case, the hawkers cannot maintain their position even if they want to, since it is not legal. So they have to close down their goods and stay in one place. Later, when this mission is over, no one stops them. As a result, they can come to the same place and set up shop again.

This business is a very challenging business for them. Since they have to do business on the side of the road, they have to keep many things in mind when setting up these shops. For example, there is a possibility of theft and robbery in these shops. Then there is the attention of the municipality and the administration. However, in the meantime, they hope to provide something good and through them, numerous customers can buy products at affordable prices.

When customers shop from such sidewalk hawkers, they find many types of products. And they can also offer them at lower prices than other big market shops, so they are also satisfied and they also hope that even if they sell at a lower rate, they can sell more so that their profits are good. And in this way, they do business there on the sidewalk for years.
