Lets talk about anaemia!


Anaemia means that either the level of red blood cells or the level of haemoglobin is lower than normal.(We say less blood in body so patient can understand it better)

Main Causes

1.Low levels of iron in the body.(main cause) 》 so try to take iron containing food.

2.Blood loss(chronic disease, in case of women :period,child birth,pregnancy) 》so take more healthy and iron foods during period.

3.Intestinal helminthes.》 Take antihelminthic drugs every 3 monthly!

4.chronic diseases – such as diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis and tuberculosis》Treat and prevent these disease

(There are many other causes,I made it easy so that you understand and can prevent it.)


*Easy fatigue

*Loss of energy.

*Rapid heart beat.

* Headache

*Dizziness & Pale skin

*Leg cramps.

(Not all symptoms are seen in everyone!)


1.Eat plenty of iron-rich foods.

2.Get enough vitamin B12 and folic acid in your diet.

3.Take vitamin C-rich foods

4.Avoid tea or coffee with meals(affects your absorption)

Not all anemia are prevetable.(There are differents type of anemia but anemia causes by common thing that we can control by food habits can be prevented)
