It was through fear of death, that we WERE, subjected unto bondage.... but thanks be to the True God that His Everlasting LOVE is able to cast out ALL FEAR, including this "fear of death".  It is true that he that fears is NOT able to be made perfect in LOVE, so it is essential to become rooted and grounded in our Father God's Perfect and Unchanging Love in order that we may be enabled to comprehend the multi-dimensional Love of Christ, who laid down His Life for us, (for it surpasses all knowledge and must be experienced in spirit and in truth) so that we might be FILLED with all the Fullness of God.  To really know God is to KNOW this LOVE and to know Eternal LIFE, by which we are enabled to Reign in LIFE as joint-heirs with Yeshua the Messiah, of all things.  It must be stated as well that this victory and triumph over all sin and death is being accomplished and applied in our present lives through a HIGHER LAW.  This Law is known as "the Law of the Spirit of LIFE in Christ Jesus", and it "has SET US FREE from the Law of sin and death."  Here is the kicker... This Perfect and Higher Law of Liberty is activated upon death to the old life and bloodline all the way back to Adam, through which we inherited our fallen earthly sinful natures though the First Adam.  Please allow me to elucidate with a few illuminated texts, which have lost none of their potency, for the Name of Yeshua/ Jesus (meaning YHWH ((The Self-Existing/Eternal is Savior/Salvation)) was and is "The WORD"/ LOGOS, and He was with God in the Beginning, and He was GOD, even as the Father and the Son are ONE, and even as our words reveal what is in the spirit of our minds, even so does the Son of God manifest to destroy/undo the works of the devil, that He may establish the Reign of the Father's Everlasting Kingdom, "On Earth AS it IS in Heaven", and His brilliant strategy, (unbeknownst to the evil one, and his kingdom of darkness) was THROUGH DEATH, to destroy him that had the power of death! :) 

     "But we see One who was made for a little while lower than the angels—namely, Yeshua. He is NOW CROWNED with glory and honor, BECAUSE OF THE DEATH He suffered so that, by the grace of God, He might taste death FOR EVERYONE. For it was fitting for God—for whom and through whom all things exist—in leading many sons to glory, to perfect through sufferings the initiator of their salvation. For both He who sanctifies and those being sanctified are all from one—so He is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters, saying, “I will proclaim Your name to My brothers and sisters. In the midst of the congregation I will sing praise to You.” And again, “I will put My trust in Him.” And again, “Here am I and the children God has given Me.” Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared the same humanity—SO THAT THROUGH DEATH He might break the power of the one who had the power of death (that is, the devil) and free those who by fear of death were in bondage all their lives."

       "But someone will say, “How are the dead raised?” and, “With what kind of body do they come?” Fool! What you sow DOES NOT COME TO LIFE UNLESS IT DIES. As for what you sow—you are not sowing the body that will be, but a bare seed, maybe of wheat or something else. But God gives it a body just as He planned, and to each of the seeds a body of its own. All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one flesh of humans, another flesh of animals, another of birds, and another of fish. There are also heavenly bodies and earthly bodies, but the glory of the heavenly is one thing while the earthly is another. There is one glory of the sun, another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differs from another star in glory. So also is the resurrection of the dead: Sown in corruption, raised in incorruption! Sown in dishonor, raised in glory! Sown in weakness, raised in power! Sown a natural body, raised a spiritual body! If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. So also it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living soul.” THE LAST ADAM BECAME A LIFE-GIVING SPIRIT. However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural; then the spiritual. The first man is of the earth, made of dust; the second man is from heaven. Like the one made of dust, so also are those made of dust; and like the heavenly, so also are those who are heavenly. And just as we have borne the image of the one made from dust, so also shall we bear the image of the One from heaven.

Even so, brothers, we have been set free from the reign of sin and death, through the Grace of God who allowed His own Son to taste death for each of us!  And even as what we sow cannot come to life unless it dies, even so we cannot REIGN IN LIFE unless we acknowledge and receive the gift of the Death of Christ as being our death as well... Hence, "Crucified with Christ" and therefore able to Reign with Him and for the subjecting of ALL THINGS to the Rule and Reign of the Everlasting Kingdom of Righteousness, Peace and Joy in the Holy Spirit, who is sent from the Father God to always cause us to triumph through Yeshua, and enforces His Victory into every area of our lives and every realm and region which He has given for us to rule over under His Commands.  

    "Since we are those who stand in holy awe of the Lord, we make it our passion to persuade others to turn to him. We know that our lives are transparent before the God who knows us fully, and I hope that we are also well known to your consciences. Again, we are not taking an opportunity to brag, but giving you information that will enable you to be proud of us, and to answer those who esteem outward appearances while overlooking what is in the heart. If we are out of our minds in a blissful, divine ecstasy, it is for God, but if we are in our right minds, it is for your benefit. For it is Christ’s love that fuels our passion and motivates us, because we are absolutely convinced that he has given his life for all of us. THIS MEANS ALL DIED WITH HIM, so that those who live should no longer live self-absorbed lives but lives that are poured out for him—the one who died for us and now lives again. So then, from now on, we have a new perspective that refuses to evaluate people merely by their outward appearances. For that’s how we once viewed the Anointed One, but no longer do we see him with limited human insight. Now, if anyone is enfolded into Christ, he has BECOME AND ENTIRELY NEW CREATION. All that is related to the old order has vanished. Behold, everything is fresh and new. And God has made all things new, and reconciled us to himself, and given us the ministry of reconciling others to God. In other words, it was through the Anointed One that God was shepherding the world, not even keeping records of their transgressions, and he has entrusted to us the ministry of opening the door of reconciliation to God.
