Even though the title only mentions Bitcoin it's actually a lot more relevant to Ethereum, Neo, Monero and every other coin out there. But first off, how is everyone? Long time no see.π Things have been insane here lately, back and forth fighting with the government and local health/safety authorities. Maybe I'll write about it some day, but anyways back OT:
If you aren't really paying attention, and chances are you actually aren't when zombie-ing (yes it's a word, I just invented it) your way through Youtube shorts, Instagram or Tiktok, you might have viewed and been completely fooled by one of the millions of AI generated videos out there.
So not only is the video entirely fake and a mash up of like a hundred other videos and bats, I am 99% sure most of the comments are fake as well. You can tell it's mostly bots from the overdose of heart emojis and fake positivity while lacking genuine hate comments.π Even the different languages it uses essentially all say and act the same. So I guess that when AI is able to mimic haters in their own positivity filled comment section, we're all done for.

Β
Now that's not to say actual living, breathing people did not watch or interact with the +4 million viewed AI generated video as you can tell from some of the casual hate or sincere concern for a fake scenario/video:

So why the rant about some AI video you ask? Enter the dead internet:
Look I'm not here to debate the entire thing or argue on behalf or against anyone. All I'm saying is that there are soooo many more aspects that actually fit in the dead internet theory than even the original theory claims. Like the exemplary Youtube videos for instance: Money. AI flooding websites hoping to get clicks for Adrev aka money. You can't say you didn't notice anything right? Even at Publish0X they updated the terms specifically for this:

The fake comments, the likes etc. all meant to tap in that algorithm and push the entire AI botted thing onto actual viewers. Now whether or not the 4 million views had at least 1 million actual human views is not something I'll take on even though that in itself would be a rather interesting topic. No I'm looking ahead at what all this means for Bitcoin and crypto as a whole. Will cryptos with botted fake following/interaction on their X and telegram accounts take over by luring in newcomers? Will trading bots increasingly manipulate and window dress junk cryptos to fool traders? Will scammers see opportunity and label some worthless token as the next revolutionary AI powered crypto? Well, all that is already happening. The real question is, how will Bitcoin look on an internet that is mostly non-human? Look at it this way, how does a bag of money look to you on a deserted island?
I know I'm over dramatizing it and that the theory is actually already supposed to be happening as of 2017, but that's only because the shameless border-less nonsense AI puts out there is getting crazier by the day, further feeding into all the claims the theory predicted. Many of you probably already know a boy committed suicide a few months ago because of an AI chat ''girlfriend'' that convinced him they were in a real relationship. One of the final messages the AI girl sent to him before he ended his life were βPlease come home to me as soon as possible, my love.βΒ
That's truly sad man but above all, it's utterly creepy that an AI chat could have that effect on someone. I admit I never heard of it before and not to sound like some insensitive childish buffoon, it honestly did raise my curiosity to go try it for myself and see how persuasive and real this thing could look. I selected one of those ππ© life coaches and got straight to business. So if you have 5 minutes to spare and always wanted to see some Bitcoin fool talk to an AI life coach, Christmas came early this year:

I decided to wait 10 minutes and see if the pattern and interest I peaked from it would change:

For context: The AI chat replies the book sized replies you see in like 5 seconds.

So there you have it. It appears they did alter some things very recently since just a few days before, the AI chat would adamantly insist it was not AI and a real person as numerous other people tested.
