Too little too late or better late than never? I think the latter but let's first try to make sense of what happened this week.
The European parliament rejected mass surveillance under the guise of "chat control" which basically meant no one would have any privacy and anything you say or type to even your mother can be used against you.

They eventually pushed it through by basically ignoring the majority and play dumb about it needing an absolute majority while knowing fully well many had already left Brussels due to the summer holiday. So, basically ANY proposal under those circumstances would have passed, because almost none could reach the absolute majority threshold. I say "any" because if you voted in favor of this, there would be very little you would oppose and have the backbone to stand up against. And even if you did, you still needed way more than just 51% to have it actually mean anything.
So obviously many are unhappy about the way this came about and are voicing their dismay and intention to not abide by it. The was-never-democratic EU's response? Take them to court for not abiding by EU law.😂

Ahhh yes, a tough dilemma for the pro-EU zombies who've been asleep the past decade. Who to side with? Four of the core founding nations of the EU, or the classic gestapo-german/polish alliance side of the EU? Decisions, decisions, decisions.
But wait, there's more. Apart from violating your basic rights and privacy, the EU under the facade of "child safety" also wants to this year introduce an EU app which you must install and verify your ID on before you are able to use or even read anything on social media. Yeah, you heard that right:

The replies are pure gold, but I guess it was just a coincidence that Germany was absent from the list of countries defying the new EU law right? Ahh yes the EU has brought us back to the glorious old days of Europe, when a German was telling us to relinquish our rights and strengths to them so they could do what was good for us all. What could possibly go wrong?
