Blurt is a hardfork from the Steem blockchain which became active at the beginning of July. They also took screenshots of everybody's Steemit wallet and so when Blurt opened I had about 650 Blurt, free money you can never be angry with that. Since I am always curious as soon as I remembered about Blurt in the second week of July I went to see how it works.

Well the first day was very disappointing, I couldn't even access the wallet and I also could not vote, post or any other action because this is the thing about Blurt, every action you make has a cost in Blurt, and as I didn't have access to anything I was out.

So the following week I went and now at last I had access to my wallet, I was able after that to post, to vote and even, if I want to, withdraw Blurt, now one thing about Blurt is that your author rewards are 100 for powering up, no liquid Blurt from rewards, except, and I am not sure of this, from curation rewards, because I have had liquid Blurt in small amounts which I don't know where it came from.

Unfortunately I powered up all the liquid Blurt, which wasn't much and thought I had done a smart thing. The thing is now I can't post, I can't curate, I can't power down, I can't withdraw. The only thing I think I can do is send some blurt from an exchange and have it on stand by.

Blurt is right now worth about $0.02 which is not great but at least it does have value, I will keep on trying to work there to see if it does become a success. And, you know yes, Ionomy does have Blurt listed so I am sure I can withdraw my blurt to that exchange once I have enough Blurt to start being active again.

There will be a hard fork soon to fix many of the problems they have faced, perhaps then I can give a more positive review of this site.
