My life was ruled by zits,
Was always in tears,
Face marked with pits,
During my teenage years.
Was exceptionally horrible,
Having one right on the nose;
Making life totally miserable,
When prom night was close.
All had a clear complexion,
Except me, myself and I.
No one had compassion,
Didn’t bother to say, “Hi.”
Am glad that is past,
My luck is finally turning.
I’m free from zits, at last,
It took too long in coming.
