To keep me is pointless,
‘Tis called wrongful detention.
This union is loveless,
As I don’t have your attention.
A long time we’ve been thus,
So I’m looking to get out.
No need to make a fuss,
It’s not solved even if you shout.
Unlock this chain,
Open up all windows and doors.
There’s nothing for you to gain,
If you want me to beg on all fours.
Here, I’m half dead,
Let me return to life.
No more words to be said,
Will wait for you next morn at five.
