As the skies open up
And down pours the rain.
I look up, tears washed away
But still much felt is the pain.
Life with its twists and turns
Many a challenge I have to face.
Feeling small, feeling weak, insignificant
Left far behind in the race.
I stumble, I cry
Blood from my scraped knee.
Lend me your strength, lift me high
In my heart only this one plea.
They say better days will soon come
This nightmare will surely end.
In my mind is this $64 million question
"Can you let me know when?"
