Don’t be ultra sensitive,
This attitude won’t get you far,
Coupled with outlook so negative;
Intellectually, you’re up to par.
Be more thick-skinned,
Do take my advice.
Dump faults into the recycle bin,
It’s not really a vice.
If you’re open-minded,
You’ll be enlightened;
When acute feelings have yielded,
Other senses are heightened.
I’m sure you’re smart,
To let me finish speaking;
Not take to heart,
And go away sulking.
