Ladies find me troublesome,
From the many I’ve tried to court.
Prosperous or darkly handsome,
Well, I’m certainly not.
I’d love to have some attention,
From girls, girls and more girls,
Instead of a miscommunication,
Feelings end up in curls.
Doesn’t help that I’m tongue-tied,
Tried improving, but all in vain.
Of the opposite sex I’m terrified,
Even among the plainest of plain.
I’m now a confirmed bachelor,
This failure I’ve to bear,
And continue my work as a tailor,
But only of menswear.
