Here’s a tribute to my father,
From an affectionate daughter.
It’s his birthday,
So I’ve lots to say.

“Thank you, Daddy,
For being ever ready,
To chip in when needed,
Advising, though unheeded.

At times, I may have stumbled,
And by experiences, humbled.
Amidst all these, you’re in the center,
My staunch supporter.

Desires I can never accomplish
If first, my plans you don’t polish.
You helped me tremendously,
Doing everything gratuitously.

Thank you very much, I say,
And many happy returns of the day!”
