As age creeps up on me,
Hair turns grey, skin wrinkly,
How will my end game be?
Still enjoying tea or sickly?
One by one brain cells die,
Memories escape my mind;
For the youth lost I cry
Treatment toward me unkind.
How fleeting our life is
Years pass just like a movie;
When we depart, will we be missed?
Or rejoiced, there goes the looney?
Morbid I am not
Because this is reality,
No matter how hard we have fought
We can't deny mortality.
