Since the day you left me,
I’ve been unable to see,
Why in this world I should remain,
To be jovial, I can’t feign.
While your death we did expect,
It’s not any easier to accept.
To me, it’s absolutely unfair,
That this bereavement I’ve to bear.
I’m only a simple woman,
An incomplete human.
Have many a weakness,
Depended on you for cheeriness.
No one else but you mattered,
It’s unlucky our dreams shattered.
A part of me is now lost,
Without you, I’m a spent force.
