Sapped

Am totally listless,
Have lost my energy.
At first, was restless,
Till invited to an orgy.

I’m now sapped,
Just washed ashore.
Seems like vitality is tapped,
From my very core.

It was truly wild,
A night most memorable.
To recharge would take a while,
Meantime, this state is unbearable.

Going to lie in,
Sleep off this hangover.
My recovery is to be seen,
Hopefully, won’t take forever.
