Rolling Stone

By emily2u | From the Heart | 21 May 2021

When the sun arises,
I’ll make two guesses,
On how my day will go,
If I’ll find that pot of gold.

I’m a rolling stone,
Has no permanent home.
Though suffering from gout,
It’s nothing to worry about.

Don’t believe in honest work,
But I’m not a jerk.
I’d rather depend on my luck,
To make a quick buck.

I’ve no wife, alluringly,
To introduce proudly.
I’m just a lone man,
Sorry to say, with a near end.
