On a night out to town,
With a new guy on your arm,
You treated me like a clown,
But to others, turn on your charm.
Felt so cheap,
Though didn’t expect much.
Your mockery cut me too deep,
Was made to feel such!
I wonder, why did we ever start?
What did I see in you?
Now you’re revealing your icy heart,
If only earlier I knew!
To pick up the pieces, I’ve willed,
Show you another side of me.
In time, this loss will be filled,
……… Soon, I’ll be free.
