Run ... run across the lavender field
Arms wide open, flowing hair;
Free as I bird I finally am
Breathing in the freshest air.

Sipping a hot drink, eating scones
In the horizon undulating tea plantation;
Green as far as the eyes can see
Finally here at my long-awaited destination.

Brrrr what a cold night this is
The climate is what I've been missing;
Spending time here without worry
That the night lasts forever I'm wishing.

Dawn breaks for a new day
Today is a fresh start;
Thanks for this wonderful gift
Memories kept forever in my heart.
