With the rain falling
Non-stop from morning,
Like the sky was crying
And caused flooding.
Nice to roll in bed
After my supper of bread,
To lay down my head
So tired about to drop dead.
A day has passed
Just like that, so fast,
Even when weather downcast
Day or night no contrast.
And before very long
A new day will dawn,
Wonder where time has gone
As I stifle another yawn.
