I’m free like the wind
Violently swirling in the sea
Or calm under the sun
The color of tangerine.
I don’t care one iota
If I wreak havoc along the way
Or wrap around you
Like a blanket of taffeta.
Yes, free as the wind I am
Going where my fancy takes me
Like a wanderlust ---
Catch me if you can!
But I’ve one hell of a temper
Like the typhoon, unpredictable,
Destructive in the searing heat
Give no peace from breakfast to supper.
