Leaving Home

My first time leaving home,
Out of the comfort zone;
I’m jittery and excited,
Many adventures expected.

My flight is announced,
Your despair pronounced.
To undertake this, I must.
So, do not feel thus.

Now I’ve to leave ---
Here, keep this special leaf;
I’ve made into a bookmark,
For a spot in your heart.

You shouldn’t worry,
This is no issue we can hurry.
I promise, when I’m back,
My company you won’t lack.
