Dino and Pichi are lazing
On the cool ground.
Their day is relaxing,
But they are awaiting a sound.
Suddenly, they prance about ---
Soon, they’ll have a piece of bone,
For there’s a shout,
Announcing Mistress is home!
Placing her bag on the floor,
She’s greeted by friendly barking,
As they rush to the door,
Tails furiously wagging.
Mistress is back from the office
Has had a tiring day.
The dogs’ company is suffice
To keep worries at bay.
