Committed a crime,
And suffered for it.
Only still in my prime,
But already look beat.
Totally ignorant,
At the age of thirty.
Soon, I was burnt,
Had to pay the penalty.
Served my sentence,
Just released from prison.
Now, full of repentance,
Trying to be a nicer person.
The public tends to prejudge,
In my face, names people call.
Yet, I hold no grudge,
Against anyone at all.
