There’s a girl called Beryl,
Who’s as large as a barrel.
Because of other people’s ways,
She has a contorted face.
Being the target of ill remarks,
Hurt her like sharp darts.
She became an introvert,
No Samaritan could convert.
A long time since depressed,
Morbid feelings, hard to be repressed.
……………… Poor, unhappy girl,
Wishes to escape from the world.
Towards her, there’s no mercy,
‘Tis another tale for angelic Rosie.
Beryl tasted injustice first-hand,
Her rights, she’d fail to defend.
