To you I’m indebted,
For you’ve saved me.
To commit suicide I’ve deliberated,
But sense you made me see.
It’s you I’d like to thank,
For giving me the light.
You’ve been very frank,
In reversing my decision with might.
A second chance you presented,
Even though we’ve only met.
You hope not to be rewarded,
Helped unconditionally, that’s that.
Mere words, however expressed,
Can’t show my gratitude.
I promise never to be depressed,
And change my attitude.
