As the clock hits midnight
It's time to check-in,
Dreamland here I come
A long day it has been.
The sound of a toad croaking
Just outside my window,
Getting louder and louder
After a heavy downpour.
The air is getting chilly
Wrap the blanket around,
Naked under the sheets
Waiting, waiting, waiting.
As my eyes close
And darkness claims me,
I see your face in my dream
Reach out to touch you.
