If time is said to heal
Then why do I still feel
That Earth is no longer spinning,
For you, I continue pining?
If to Heaven there’s a sure way
No doubt I’d take it today
‘Cos I know that’s where you are
And you’ll leave the gate ajar.
If someone can tell me how,
I’ll trade my soul now
Since there’s no meaning without you
Though I ought to start anew.
The cycle of life holds no fascination.
Should I reset the wheel in motion?
I’ve failed to see what life’s all about.
Can’t I take the easy way out?
Though I’m aware of your presence,
Everything has lost its essence.
Life is like a black and white picture,
It doesn’t look like I have a future.
What should I do?
I’ve had enough of boo-hoo.
Yet, I’m directionless
And to move on is pointless.
