Guilty As Charged

You’re caught,
Will be charged in court.
Don’t say you’re innocent,
At the scene you were present.

Knowing you’re guilty,
Pointless to make this lengthy.
There’s no case to plead,
Your involvement, just admit.

This suit won’t have interruption,
If you give an affirmation.
Punishment will be lighter,
A heavy one can deter.

No way to escape the law,
From what we saw.
Stop being mulish, for pity’s sake,
Annoyance you’ll only make.
