This lamp is my home,
As I’m a genie.
The story’s written in a tome,
People want me for money.
I can grant your wishes,
Though nothing comes free.
Certainly, you were told by teachers,
Nevertheless, you can make three.
If I turn them into reality,
What will I get for my trouble?
Don’t forget I’ve also the capability,
Making your problems treble.
When deciding to ask for something,
Be sure it’s worthwhile, really;
Or else you’ll be getting,
More bad luck, yearly.
