At the park,
People are watching
A swift brown duck,
Which is set on winning.
The hundred-meter duck race,
Is in progress in the pond.
Other partakers with the same face
Look bored, about to yawn.
The first prize of a grand,
Makes the owners full of eagerness,
In cheering for their pets to land,
With single-mindedness.
But ducks, being what they are,
Aren’t money motivated,
Straying wide and far,
To things held them fascinated.
