You’re always here,
Making sure I walk tall,
Loving me in your unique way,
As if it’s your call.
I’ll never let you down,
As long as you’re by my side.
Your never-ending set of rules,
I’ll try my best to abide.
I want to make you proud
Of all that I’ve done,
So you can announce to all,
That, yes, I’m your one.
But, you are always dissatisfied,
Finding every fault with me.
I can change my ways to suit you,
If that’s what you want, you’ll see.
