Looking up the darkest sky
With a million twinkling stars
I chance upon a comet
And made a desperate wish.
It’s coming true
If I get to fly away
Take off with a speed so fast
Nothing can hold me back.
Having been maimed
It’ll be a miracle to do so
Without falling to the ground
Thud causing a minor earthquake.
It’s cruel of you to have clipped
My beautiful set of wings
Confiscated my freedom
And caged me up.
