Swimming in a big glass bowl,
The colors of the goldfish glow.
Swirling ever so gracefully,
In a home decorated brilliantly.
Rising to the surface is many a bubble,
At night, like stars they twinkle.
Or perhaps like tiny crystal balls,
Hanging by the inside of the walls.
The base, covered with smooth pebbles,
And multihued round marbles;
Add to the surreal environment,
To the fish’s fulfillment.
In this confined space,
The fish spends its days;
Whirling here and there,
With neither anxiety nor care.
